Win tickets to see Premier League Snooker at Southampton Guildhall

Southampton Guildhall plays host to the fifth instalment of the 2012 PartyPoker.com Premier League Snooker season on Thursday, October 4th and bwin is giving you the chance to watch the action live with a friend.

The event starts at 7.30pm (GMT+1) and will comprise of two matches: Stuart Bingham v Ding Junhui and Judd Trump v Peter Ebdon.

If you want to be in with a chance of winning a ticket for you and a guest to see both of these contests, all you need to do is Like the bwin Facebook page AND Like the post on the bwin Facebook timeline which features a picture of Ding.

Entries will be accepted up until 11:59pm (GMT +1) on Sunday, September 30th 2012. The winner will be contacted by via Facebook message on Monday, October 1st and the prize must be accepted within 24 hours. Failure to acknowledge the Facebook message from bwin in the requisite time will result in forfeiture of the prize and bwin will be entitled to re-draw to find another winner.

Ten of the world’s best snooker players feature in this year’s PartyPoker.com Premier League Snooker season, which takes place over the course of four months at different venues across the country.

In the second match, a clash of styles promises to deliver a memorable contest. Exciting young talent Judd Trump, who is known for his aggressive attacking style, takes on master tactician and former world champion Peter Ebdon.

Initially, the field is divided into two groups. Players in each mini-league face each other over six frames, with two points awarded for a win and one for a draw. The top two in each group then progress to the knock-out stages and a competition winner is crowned after a semi-final and a final.

Dominated in recent years by Ronnie O’Sullivan, who has won seven of the last eight titles, this year promises to be more open thanks to the strength of the field and the Rocket’s absence.

The action at Southampton Guildhall will feature players from Group A. In the first match, Ding will be looking to build on his winning start against Shaun Murphy when he takes on Australian Goldfields Open champion Stuart Bingham.

The Chinese player beat Murphy 4-2 in Skegness back in August, while Bingham drew 3-3 with the same opponent in his only fixture to date.

In the second match, a clash of styles promises to deliver a memorable contest. Exciting young talent Judd Trump, who is known for his aggressive attacking style, takes on master tactician and former world champion Peter Ebdon.

Both are in form having recorded 5-1 wins over Stephen Lee in their only matches so far, although while Ebdon is only a 12/1 shot to win the competition outright, Trump is 5/2 favourite with bwin.

The tickets permit access for two people to the Stuart Bingham v Ding Junhui and Judd Trump v Peter Ebdon matches at Southampton Guildhall on Thursday, 4th October 2012 at 7:30pm (GMT +1).

• Prize Draw:
  • Players who successfully Like the bwin Facebook page and Like the post on the bwin Facebook timeline which features a picture of Ding Junhui will be placed in a draw to win the Tickets and a winner shall be drawn at random (the “Winners”). The draw will take place on 1 October 2012 and the first name chosen will win the Tickets.
