Back Milan continue run against BATE despite Cassano absence
Five wins in a row make Milan odds-on favourites to beat BATE Borisov this evening.
AC Milan will be “playing for Antonio Cassano” against BATE Borisov this evening after the striker was struck down by a mystery illness following his side’s 3-2 win over Roma at the weekend.
And it is likely the Rossoneri will secure a win to honour their absent colleague, with BATE having lost their last two Champions League encounters without scoring a goal and conceding seven times.
Key to this recent success has been their form in front of goal, with at least three goals scored in each of their last four league games.
As such, Massimiliano Allegri’s men go into the match in Belarus as 53/100 favourites to pick up all three points, with a draw priced at 29/10 and home victory available at 21/4 in bwin’s 3Way football betting market.

| Bayern Munich win | £35.60 | (39/50) | ||
| Dortmund | 0-0 | Bayern Munich | £220.00 | (10/1) |

| Dortmund | 1-1 | Bayern Munich | £150.00 | (13/2) |
Milan started the season slowly and were in 13th position in the Serie A table as recently as 15th October.
However, their poor start did not extend to the Champions League, where they opened their campaign with a highly credible 2-2 draw with Barcelona at the Nou Camp on matchday one.
Wins in both of their matches since then mean they are level with Barca at the top of Group H with seven points, with one of those victories a 2-0 success over BATE at the San Siro.
Worryingly for the Belarusian team, Milan’s form has also picked up domestically, with four wins recorded on the trot since a 2-0 defeat to league leaders Juventus on 2nd October.
Key to this recent success has been their form in front of goal, with at least three goals scored in each of their last four league games.
Three or more goals for AC Milan against BATE this evening is priced at 11/5, meaning a successful £25 free bet on the Italian side to continue their goalscoring run would return £80.
Alternatively, punters could play on Milan’s potent attack and the fact that BATE have not hit the back of the net in their last two Champions League matches.
As such, they could bet on the away side to win to nil at 13/10.
One final bet to consider is on Zlatan Ibrahimovic to score first at odds of 7/2. The Swede is in excellent form having scored four in Milan’s last four matches, with two of these being match openers.
