Meet the bwinbetting editorial team, a group of individuals who were cobbled together in a desperate rummage through the free transfer and loan markets.

They may not be great to look at, but they bring a wealth of football and betting knowledge to the table and might just point you in the direction of a winner every once in a while.

Tim Lesnik

Tim worked as a desk head at online press agency Adfero for four years before joining the bwinbetting line-up. A refined character with impressive football knowledge, Tim will often be fouind at Carrow Road watching his first love, Norwich City.

Chris Bryant

As chief editor of bwinbetting, Chris combines his knowledge of English and European football with his love of gambling. Having cut his teeth in local newspaper journalism, he worked as a writer and sub-editor at the Non League Paper and was then sports editor at inthenews.co.uk before moving to his current post.

Jamie Smith

Jamie graduated from the University of Sunderland with a journalism degree before starting out as a writer. He has contributed freelance articles to the Guardian and a number of music publications, as well as helping to run online Burnley FC blog No Nay Never and edit print fanzine When the Ball Moves.

James Curtis

Since graduating with a 2:1 in journalism from London Metropolitan University, James has contributed to a number of online, print and broadcast sports publications. His sports knowledge has been lent to a range of local newsapers, including the Metro, while he has also been a contributor to Sky Sports News' 24-hour television coverage. Prior to joining the bwin team, James also worked at the Press Association and the South London Press.

Carl Sampson

Carl is one of the most respected poker writers in Europe and has experience of playing and teaching blackjack at some of the world's best casinos. The man known in poker circles as 'The Dean' is a member of the Hendon Mob and also offers his sports betting observations on the bwin sportsblog.

Chris Malone

As a former semi-professional footballer and youth team coach, Chris has always had a keen interest in sport. This was reinforced by an honours degree in Sport Studies and Film & Media Studies from the University of Stirling. Since then, he has qualified as a professional snowboard instructor and forged a career in the media industry.

Ollie Knight

Since graduating from university with a 2:1 in journalism in 2009, Ollie has contributed his sports knowledge to a number of publications. This includes work for the Metro, Daily Express, Southern Daily Echo and Oxford Mail, among others. Having watched, played and written about football for over four years, Ollie is relishing being part of the bwin team.

Phil Norris

I'm Phil Norris and I've been a professional journalist for the past year and a half. When I'm not writing about sport, you'll generally find me watching it. I learned my craft at the University of Central Lancashire, where I had work experience placements with the Press Association and the Observer. Now I live in Manchester, just a short hop from Old Trafford, which is handy as I'm a huge Manchester United fan.
