Goals Galore: games at Blackburn, Peterborough and Sheff Wed can be high-scoring
With a full Championship fixture list to get stuck into, get on the 4/1 that games at Ewood Park, London Road and Hillsborough all deliver three goals or more
With scorelines including 5-2 and 5-3, this weekend showed the Championship truly is the place to be for Goals Galore and the six teams in Tuesday’s over 2.5 goals treble – Barnsley, Blackburn Rovers, Bristol City, Peterborough United, Sheffield Wednesday & Huddersfield Town – have been major contributors to the division’s entertainment with 91 goals in their games so far.
With points still key in early season, there’s no reason why that won’t continue and odds of 41/10 for an over 2.5 goals treble looks excellent value.
New customers using the free £20 bet available when registering with bwin stand to win £101.98 if all three games produce three or more goals – and here’s why I reckon they will.

It took an eight-goal thriller for Blackburn, who won at Bristol City on Saturday, to hit the Championship summit and with star strikers Jordan Rhodes & Nuno Gomes hitting form they clearly have goals in them.
With Barnsley having conceded 10 already, Steve Kean’s side should be able to continue to outscore their visitors despite the threat of four-goal Craig Davies.
Over 2.5 goals in Peterborough v Bristol City @ 18/25
It may still be early in the season but Posh are in trouble as they prop up the table with five straight defeats and a goal difference of minus eight.
They entertained last season with 144 total goals in their games but they appear not to have the balance right yet this term and City, with eleven goals already, are well placed to take advantage of their open approach.
Over 2.5 goals in Sheffield Wednesday v Huddersfield @ 83/100
These two promoted sides from League One have taken differing approaches to survival.
Sheff Wed have gone for the ‘all or nothing’ with 20 total goals in their games and though Huddersfield are keeping things slightly tighter, a ‘winnable’ away game is likely to see them go for goals.
