Goals Galore: Games at Preston, Bradford and Burton offer great 5/1 treble
Net-bulging aplenty is on the menu in League's One and Two this weekend as Andrew Clark goes in search of a winning three-timer.
After a ‘Goals Galore’ interlude last weekend, this Saturday we are looking for League One and League Two goals aplenty from Preston North End, Yeovil, Bradford City, Port Vale, Burton Albion and Northampton Town.
A number of these sides have been scoring goals at will in the last few weeks, so there are high hopes that we can land our latest treble attempt for England’s bottom two divisions.

Preston are the proverbial loose cannon this season but if one thing is assured when Graham Westley’s men take the field, it’s that goals hit the net – their last three games at home in League One have all produced over 2.5 goals.
Yeovil are on a poor run but their early-season form shows they can score. They were beaten 4-1 at Leyton Orient on their last away day, which followed 3-1 and 4-1 away wins over Brentford and Scunthorpe respectively at the start of the season. Over 2.5 goals therefore looks a strong bet in this match.
Over 2.5 Goals in Bradford vs Port Vale @ 91/100
Both these sides score goals for fun. Bradford have scored over 2.5 goals on their own in each of their last three home league matches, while Port Vale have scored over 2.5 in their last three on the road, including a 5-2 win at last time out.
With a whopping 26 goals already scored in Bradford’s eight League Two games thus far and and even more impressive 32 notched in Port Vale’s, in truth, we could justify a bet on over 4.5 goals in this one – but over 2.5 will do our treble nicely.
Over 2.5 Goals in Burton vs Northampton @ 83/100
Burton Albion have been banging the goals in of late, scoring seven in their last two and 13 in their four home games thus far this season. Three of their four home matches have featured over 2.5 goals this season and if Northampton rediscover their early-season form, we could have a cricket score on our hands here.
The Cobblers have gone quiet in front of goal recently but a run of three goals in their last three away means they should contribute to the magical over 2.5 goals we need to complete our treble.
