Home Heroes: MK Dons, Rotherham, Chesterfield at just over 5/1
Fresh from predicting three home bankers over the weekend, Jack Beresford offers up tempting treble from League One and League Two from this Tuesday's fixture list
After each of my three predictions from League One and League Two came in last weekend, this time out I’m backing MK Dons, Chesterfield and Rotherham United to enjoy more home success against their respective visitors Notts County, Accrington Stanley and Rochdale.
It may only be Tuesday but I’m feeling pretty good after correctly predicting wins for Bradford City, Gillingham and Tranmere Rovers on Saturday afternoon, as part of a treble prediction offering odds of 9/2.
This time out, I am equally confident of success too, with this formidable threesome offering favourable odds of just over 5/1.
While all three offer decent banker bets on an individual basis, backing on three for a treble could be even more tempting with a return of £108.36 for anyone using bwin’s free £20 bet.

MK Dons to beat Notts County @ 4/5
Notts County may have started well in League One under Keith Curle, but they have plenty to fear from a visit to stadiummk, particularly after struggling to a 2-2 draw with Oldham
MK Dons have been in electric form at home so far this campaign, claiming four wins in their last four competitive matches, including a 2-1 win over Blackburn Rovers in the Capital One Cup.
History is also on the Milton Keynes club’s side, with the Dons winning each of their last five meetings with Notts County on their own patch.
You can get 4/5 on them making it six.
Chesterfield to beat Accrington Stanley @ 18/25
Chesterfield are on a fine fun of form at the Proact Stadium at the moment and await the visit of Accrington in confident mood, having gone four games unbeaten at their newly named home.
Their last two outings in Derbyshire proved particularly fruitful, with the Spireites picking up wins over Oldham in the Football League trophy and Wycombe Wanderers, a real tonic for the club after they sacked manager John Sheridan last month.
They will be confident of carrying on their run against Accrington, particularly as Chesterfield have won their last two meetings at the Proact Stadium.
Stanley are in poor form with just one win in five and Chesterfield look good for a home win at 18/25.
Rotherham to beat Rochdale @ 3/4
While it may prove a hindrance in the long-term, the absence of manager Steve Evans from the touchline on Saturday served as something of a blessing for Rotherham United – and the attending fourth official no doubt.
An Evans-less Rotherham side claimed an important 1-0 win over Torquay United, which ensured the Millers maintained their fantastic 100% home record in League Two this season.
The hosts have proven particularly impressive defensively and have yet to concede a goal in three league games at the New York Stadium.
In contrast, Rochdale have proven largely inconsistent in the league this term and continue to concern fans with their abject away form.
Unbelievably, the Dale have won just one of their last 17 away league games in a record that stretches back into last season.
A Rotherham win at 3/4 is a dead cert, completing a fine looking treble.
