Sheffield United appeared to be back to their goalscoring best last weekend with a 5-3 win over promotion rivals Bournemouth at Bramall Lane.
The result capped off a fine start to the League One season for the Blades, with Danny Wilson’s side unbeaten so far this term.
Scunthorpe, meanwhile, continue to lurch from one disaster to the next, with the hosts currently on a run of six straight losses in league and cup, conceding 14 goals along the way.
The Blades won the last meeting between the sides and a repeat could well be on the cards at 9/10.
Tranmere Rovers to beat Crewe @ 7/5
Tranmere Rovers have made a great start to the current League One campaign under Ronnie Moore, winning three and drawing one of their last four games.
With confidence high at the Wirral-based club, Tranmere could fancy their chances of claiming an away win against a Crewe Alexandra team that has already lost to Notts County at Gresty Road.
Tranmere have also enjoyed a good recent record against the hosts, winning two of the past three meetings, so backing an away win at 7/5 looks a shrewd move.
Aldershot to beat Bristol Rovers @ 2/1
Aldershot’s visit to Bristol Rovers may have ‘relegation scrap’ written all over it, but with the hosts in bad form, an away win is a very real prospect.
This is partly due to Bristol Rovers’ poor form, which has seen the home team lose their three last competitive games at the Memorial Stadium, failing to score in any of these outings in the process.
Aldershot have enjoyed their recent visits to the south-west, beating Plymouth on the road in League Two, as well as knocking Exeter City out of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.
More importantly, the Shots have a good recent record against the Pirates, winning home and away against them last season, and they must be worth a look at 2/1.
