Goals Galore: Look to games at Notts County, Doncaster and Port Vale

After narrowly missing out on glory over the weekend, Andrew Clark is back with another over 2.5 goals treble for Tuesday's League One and League Two action at odds close to 5/1.

Goals Galore: Look to games at Notts County, Doncaster and Port Vale

After hitting the crossbar on Saturday with our ‘banker’ letting the League One and League Two ‘Goals Galore’ treble down, we are coming out all guns blazing with this Tuesday effort at odds just shy of 5/1.

On Saturday, the shocking let down of Bradford vs Port Vale finishing 1-0 when the stats all pointed to a goal-fuelled thriller was hard to take. The other two matches obliged with a bit in hand, but no one likes a bad beat so it’s time to make amends.

We’re putting our faith in the games at Notts County, Doncaster Rovers and – considering they owe me one – Port Vale to all contain over 2.5 goals.

Over 2.5 goals in Notts County vs Stevenage @ 19/20

County have scored three goals in each of their last two home matches, conceding twice in the process, and have scored 12 goals on home soil in their first five games of the new campaign at Meadow Lane.

Stevenage are no slouches in front of goal either, having scored in all of their away matches so far in their unbeaten start to the League One season.

Both teams have scored in each of Stevenage’s last six league outings – they have not kept a clean sheet since August 25th – so it is not hard to envisage over 2.5 goals being notched in this one.

Over 2.5 goals in Doncaster vs Preston @ 3/4

Doncaster have scored four times in their last two home matches, including three goals against Hull in the Capital One Cup. Donny are also less than solid at the back, conceding in all three of their home league matches so far and goals could flow here given Preston’s erratic early-season form.

The Lilywhites have developed a reputation for providing entertaining fare of late under Graham Westley, with each of their last six fixtures in League One meeting the required over 2.5 goals criterion and this clash can be included in the treble with a fair degree of confidence.

Over 2.5 goals in Port Vale vs Dagenham & Redbridge @ 3/4

Despite letting me down with their surprisingly low-key win over Bradford, Port Vale have been the goal kings in League Two so far.

Aside from a blip in their previous Vale Park outing – a 2-0 defeat by Gillingham – they have fired ten goals already at home, while also conceding five and their nine league games so far have produced 33 strikes at an average of 3.7.

Dagenham & Redbridge, for their part, have been involved in three goalfests in their last three away matches. Each game has included four goals, with two finishing 2-2 (against AFC Wimbledon and Rochdale) and the other resulting in a 3-1 defeat by rivals Southend United at Roots Hall.

With two of the last three meetings between Port Vale and the Daggers also featuring over 2.5 goals, this should hopefully round off an impressive treble for bwinbetting readers.
