Goals Galore: Tuesday treats at Shrewsbury, Cheltenham and Dagenham

This Tuesday's over 2.5 goals treble for League One and League Two comes in at football betting odds of just over 5/1.

Goals Galore: Tuesday treats at Shrewsbury, Cheltenham and Dagenham

Another full midweek Football League programme gives us another chance to find three potential goal mines and we are specifically looking for attacking returns from Shrewsbury Town, Yeovil Town, Cheltenham Town, Plymouth Argyle, Dagenham & Redbridge and Exeter City.

All these matches involve teams who have a top record in front of goal and/or teams who didn’t go to the Tony Adams school of defending and tend to concede goals like they’re going out of fashion.

Backing all three fixtures to produce over 2.5 goals will give us a potential treble win at odds of 527/100. In real money terms, that means the free £20 bet you get when registering a new bwin account could be turned into £125.44 by successfully backing this top trio.

Read on to find out why the three matches look set to deliver goals aplenty.

Over 2.5 goals in Shrewsbury vs Yeovil @ 19/20

This selection focuses on the away form of Yeovil, who are seemingly involved in a goal-fuelled 90 minutes every time they step outside the comforts of Huish Park.

Their last three League One away matches have each produced five goals and in six away games this season, they have scored three goals or more on four occasions. Shrewsbury are hardly dull at home, scoring in all but two outings so far this term, so goals look assured here – and we don’t care which end they arrive at.

Over 2.5 goals in Cheltenham vs Plymouth @ 87/100

Cheltenham’s last four matches have all produced over 2.5 goals and both teams have scored on each occasion. Their last home match was a 4-2 defeat against Oxford in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy, which followed a 2-2 draw with Fleetwood Town in League Two.

The Robins have scored two goals in each of their last four matches and a repeat of that would send us well on our way to the required over 2.5 target. Plymouth have won their last three games, scoring nine goals but conceding in each of those, so there is every reason to believe this match will be filled with goals.

Over 2.5 goals in Dagenham & Redbridge vs Exeter @ 18/25

Dagenham & Redbridge went down 3-2 at York City on Saturday but have scored seven goals in their last two home matches, despite conceding three in their previous Victoria Road outing against Bradford (a game they won 4-3).

Exeter aren’t in the best of form but they can certainly get on the scoresheet if their away record is anything to go by. The Grecians have already scored in all but one away game this season, racking up four goals at Oxford, three at Accrington Stanley and two at Aldershot Town.

And considering Exeter have also conceded eight in their last three on the road, another high-scoring encounter is to be expected in east London this evening.
