Win the chance to train with a Manchester United legend

Are you part of a struggling football team? Are you and your teammates in desperate need of assistance to help turn your campaign around? Or do you think that, with a little help, you could get your hands on some silverware at the end of the season? If any of the above apply then you’ll want to enter bwin’s competition to win a training session with the coaches of Manchester United and former Red Devil Andrew Cole.

We’re offering one lucky winner the chance to take three of his friends to the Cliff to train like Manchester United and receive expert advice from club coaches on 15th November. Cole will also join in the session and be on hand to offer knowledge built up over a 19-year playing career which saw him score 270 goals and win – amongst other things – the 1999 Champions League, five Premier League titles and two FA Cups.

What exactly is it we’re looking for?

To be in with a chance of winning the prize, we want to hear why you deserve it. Upload a short video onto your YouTube account outlining why you think you and three friends would benefit most from spending a day training like Manchester United. Then send us a tweet including @bwin, #bwinning and the link to your YouTube video in the following format to draw attention to your entry:  ’I'm entering the @bwin competition to win a training day with Andrew Cole. How will the winner be decided?

We’ll take a look through all of the entries submitted before 23:59 (GMT) on Sunday, 28th October and create a top ten playlist on our YouTube channel the following morning. The winner will be the video which receives the most YouTube likes from the public over the course of the next week.

What should you put in your video?

You don’t need to be a master at video editing to enter. A passionately-delivered monologue into a webcam could be enough to convince us and the general public that you deserve to win, but it needn’t be the limit of your ambitions. Be as creative as you like. Make us weep with despair at your team’s desperate plight. Fill us with hope about your team’s future prospects. Make us laugh by including evidence of ineptitude. After all, the public will decide the ultimate winner so the key to success will be to keep them entertained.

The prize: full details

Along with three friends, the submitter of the winning video will be put up at a four-star hotel and taken for dinner at a selected restaurant on the evening of Wednesday, 14th November. After breakfast the next morning, the winners will be shuttled to the Cliff training centre where they will be presented with personalised Manchester United training kit. They will then train with and meet the Manchester United coaches and Andrew Cole before taking part in a team workshop. Lunch is then provided before the winners are shuttled back to the hotel.

  • To enter this Competition, you must:
    • Upload a publically accessible video of no longer than three (3) minutes in duration on to your own YouTube account.  The video must express why you or your friends deserve a training day with the Manchester United legend Andrew Cole (the “Video”); and
    • Post a tweet from your own Twitter account to the username ‘@bwin’ including the link to your Video and the hashtag ‘#bwinning’ (the “Tweet”).

• Content of the Video
  • You are entirely responsible for the content of the Video which you submit.  Before you upload your Video you must ensure that the Video:
    • Is your own original work, and is not copied from anyone else. By submitting a Video, you warrant and undertake that your video does not infringe on the copyright work of any other individual, or if it does, that you have obtained express written consent from that individual to use that copyright work;
    • does not feature anybody who has not given their consent to be featured in the Video;
    • does not feature anything which is illegal, obscene, indecent, pornographic, harassing, offensive, threatening, dangerous, encourages cruelty, promotes bullying or which causes or is likely to cause harm to others;
    • does not include anything about a living person or business which is defamatory, libellous, slanderous, abusive, malicious, derogatory, racist or which is likely to cause offence;
    • does not submit anything which is confidential, covertly filmed or which infringes on an individual’s right to privacy;
    • does not feature anyone who is under the age of 18 gambling or playing a significant role in gambling;
    • is not targeted to an audience under 18 years of age, for example by including references which are specifically connected to youth culture;
    • does not predominantly feature any third-party brands, trademarks or logos;
    • does not include the personal contact details of any individual;
    • does not contain any content which brings bwin.party digital entertainment or any of its subsidiary companies into disrepute;
    • does not include any advertising of the bwin products or brand or the products or brands of any third party companies;
    • does not breach the YouTube terms and conditions.
• bwin reserves the right to exclude entrants from the Competition with or without reason, at bwin’s sole discretion, and to take any course of action available to bwin for breach of these Terms.  The actions which will result in bwin excluding you from the Competition will include but are not limited to:
  • failure to abide by these Terms, specifically as set above in relation to the content of your Video;
  • failure to abide by the YouTube or Twitter terms and conditions;
  • any attempt to rig the voting process; and/or
  • any attempt to defraud bwin.
• You may be excluded at any time and where you are excluded from the competition you will no longer be eligible to win the prize.
• You will also be held solely accountable for the content of your Video.  bwin will not be responsible for your Video and will not be obliged to defend or assist you in the defence of any action or claim which may be brought, whether civil or criminal, in relation to your Video.
• All decisions made by bwin in relation to exclusion from the Competition are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• Videos are made at your own expense, and bwin will not be liable to reimburse you for any expenses incurred in making the Video.

• Licensing Conditions
  • By submitting a Video and Tweet you are subject to the terms and conditions of YouTube and Twitter. Any content which you upload onto these third party platforms will be your responsibility and will always be subject to the licensing conditions as stated under the terms and conditions of those platforms (as modified from time to time).
  • You hereby grant to bwin a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to access, download, use, reproduce, edit, encode, create derivative works of, distribute, transmit, publish, display and use such content in the Video for the promotion of the bwin brand, which may or may not include the promotion of online betting and gaming products.
  • You hereby irrevocably and unconditionally waive any so-called “moral rights” or “performers’ rights” which you have or may acquire in relation to the Videos (as set out in the Copyrights Designs and Patents Act 1988).
  • Any material created by or on behalf of bwin which utilises your Video or any part thereof shall remain the property of bwin, but for clarity you retain ownership of your Content.
    

• The Prize Draw
  • Following the Submission Date, bwin will create a YouTube playlist featuring bwin’s top ten (10) Videos, based on creative content, style, skill and humour (the “Finalists”).
  • The winning video will be the Finalist which receives the most ‘likes’ on YouTube.com prior to the Closing Date (the “Winner”).
  • The Winner will be contacted before 23:59 on 5th November 2012 by direct message on Twitter to notify them that they have won.  Failure to reply within 24 hours will result in forfeiture of the prize and bwin will be entitled to allocate the prize to another Finalist.
    

• The Prize
  • The Prize is for the Winner and three (3) guests (together the “Prize Winners”) to attend the Manchester United Cliff Training Centre (the “Cliff Training Centre”) on 15th November 2012, where the Prize Winners will get the opportunity to meet and train with Manchester United legend Andrew Cole.
  • The Prize Winners will get:
    • a stay in a 4* hotel on 14th November 2012 (including breakfast on 15th November 2012);
    • an exclusive dinner on 14th November 2012;
    • full shuttle service to and from the hotel and the Cliff Training Centre on 15th November 2012;
    • a training session with Manchester United coaches and Manchester United legend Andrew Cole at the Cliff Training Centre;
    • personalised Man Utd training kit.

• General
  • In order to be eligible for entry into the Competition, you must:
    • be over the age of 18;
    • be willing to participate in any related publicity campaigns for the promotion of the bwin brand; and
    • be available to travel to Manchester between 14th November 2012 and 15th November 2012.
• bwin reserves the right to cancel this competition at any time with or without reason.
• bwin reserves the right to modify these terms, or the structure of the competition at any time with or without reason.
• bwin reserves the right to publish the names and details of the Prize Winners as part of this promotion. By accepting the prize, you and the Prize Winners give your consent for bwin to publish the Video and to create other video content, photos, news stories and any other promotional content for the purposes of promoting the products of the bwin Group, which, for the avoidance of doubt may include the promotion of online betting and gaming products.
• This prize is non-transferable and must not be sold or given away to any third party without the prior written consent of bwin.
• If you or an individual Prize Winner is not able to accept the prize, you must notify bwin and forfeit the prize. bwin will then be entitled to select another winner from the other Finalists.
• bwin is under no obligation to offer a substitution of the prize if any Prize Winners are unable to accept the prize.
• Photocard identification will be required of the Prize Winners in order to gain entry to the Cliff Training Centre.  Failure to provide valid proof of identification may result in the party not being allowed into the Cliff Training Centre.
• Entry to the Cliff Training Centre is at the sole discretion of Manchester United Football Club, who may refuse entry to any Prize Winners at any time with or without cause. In the event that a Prize Winner is refused entry to the Cliff Training Centre, bwin will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by that Prize Winner and no compensation or an alternative prize will be offered.
• The winner will be responsible for their own cost of travel and necessary insurance to and from the ground.
