Confederation Cup - Group B

Nigeria 0-1 Uruguay £135.00 (23/4)
Nigeria 1-1 Uruguay £140.00 (6/1)
Nigeria 0-2 Uruguay £155.00 (27/4)
Nigeria win £94.00 (37/10)
Draw £74.00 (27/10)
Uruguay win £34.00 (7/10)

Home win: 25/4  Draw: 3/1   Away win: 2/5

Key stat: The Saints have scored just twice in their opening five games.

Betting tip: St Johnstone are at the bottom of the table and no wonder when they haven’t been able to put the ball in the back of the net. It doesn’t get any easier with Glasgow giants Celtic visiting on Saturday. Expect a Celtic win to nil at 23/20

Dundee v Motherwell (3.00pm)

Home win: 27/10   Draw: 9/4   Away win: 91/100

Key stat: Motherwell are unbeaten in the SPL so far.

Betting tip: The away side have been picking up points with each match this season and with Dundee scoring just once in their first five SPL games, a safe punt is a Double Chance bet on a Motherwell win or a draw, priced at 1/4.

Hibernian v Kilmarnock (3.00pm)

Home win: 11/10   Draw: 21/10   Away win: 23/10

Key stat: Just four goals were scored in the three meetings these sides had at Easter Road last season.

Betting tip: A bet on another low-scoring affair as Killie visit the capital could be a smart punt. The odds are 3/4 for there to be fewer than 2.5 goals for their fourth Easter Road match in a row.

Inverness CT v Aberdeen (3.00pm)

Home win: 37/20   Draw: 11/5   Away win: 13/10

Key stat: Aberdeen have already played three goalless draws this season.

Betting tip: While the Dons have been playing out boreathons, Inverness have scored in every game. The last two league games, however, were losses for Thistle, despite them finding the net in each. Could this be their first game without a goal? Against their tough, defensive-minded Highland rivals, the answer could well be yes, so make a bet on an away clean sheet at 19/10.

St Mirren v Hearts (3.00pm)

Home win: 9/5   Draw: 19/10   Away win: 6/4

Key stat: St Mirren have not beaten Hearts in their last nine attempts.

Betting tip: Every side has a bogey team and for St Mirren it’s definitely Hearts. Having not beaten them since February 2010, the Saints are unlikely to find it tenth time lucky on Saturday. The Double Chance odds on a Hearts win or draw are 2/5 and after losing last week, don’t expect the Jambos to suffer back-to-back losses.
