Champions League

Dortmund 1-1 Bayern Munich £150.00 (13/2)
Dortmund 1-2 Bayern Munich £160.00 (7/1)
Dortmund 0-2 Bayern Munich £175.00 (31/4)
Dortmund win £84.00 (16/5)
Draw £82.00 (31/10)
Bayern Munich win £34.00 (7/10)

Home win: 3/19   Draw: 21/4   Away win: 12/1

Key stat: Dundee have just two goals and only four points from their first six SPL games.

Betting tip: Celtic will be keen to avenge their loss to St Johnstone last week and a home game against the league’s lowest-scoring side should do the trick. Back the Bhoys to win with a clean sheet at 13/18.

Dundee United v Hearts (3.00pm)

Home win: Evens   Draw: 9/4   Away win: 12/5

Key stat: The last five Hearts matches have all seen fewer than 2.5 goals.

Betting tip: At 7/10 it is very simple: Bet on yet another game of fewer than 2.5 goals. United themselves come into this one after two goalless draws so nether side seems to have their shooting boots on these days.

Hibernian v Inverness CT (3.00pm)

Home win: 11/10   Draw: 21/10   Away win: 23/10

Key stat: Inverness have scored in every game this season.

Betting tip: While the defence has let Inverness down in a lot of games, Terry Butcher’s team have been consistently finding the back of the net. The odds are 2/5 for them to do so again when visiting Hibs and there’s no reason why they shouldn’t.

Kilmarnock v St Mirren (3.00pm)

Home win: 13/10   Draw: 9/4   Away win: 9/5

Key stat: St Mirren put 10 goals past Kilmarnock last season.

Betting tip: Those 10 goals made up more than a quarter of the total goals scored by the Saints last season! They will be looking to add to this year’s tally further when visiting Rugby Park and odds of 4/11 for them to grab at least one make for a safe-looking bet.

Ross County v St Johnstone (3.00pm)

Home win: 6/5   Draw: 11/5   Away win: 2/1

Key stat: Ross County have already played four goalless draws this season.

Betting tip: While the home fans will be praying for some exciting action, it is hard to bet against a fifth 0-0 result for Ross County already this season. The odds on that happening are 25/4, so definitely worth a look.

Sunday, September 23rd

Aberdeen v Motherwell (12.45pm)

Home win: 5/4   Draw: 11/5   Away win: 19/10

Key stat: Aberdeen’s last five home games have finished 0-0.

Betting tip: It’s hard to see why fans would bother turning up to this one at Pittodrie, given the lack of action there in recent games. However, a goalless draw against the league leaders wouldn’t be the worst result this Sunday and is priced at 27/4.
