Real Madrid, Inter and… Motherwell for Sunday’s 4/1 betting accumulator
Why backing Motherwell, Real Madrid and Inter Milan on Sunday will return more than four times your original investment.
This Sunday I have selected only three teams on my 4/1 accumulator, thanks mainly to the inclusion of Motherwell on the coupon. The 19/10 shots are joined on the acca by Jose Mourinho’s Real Madrid and Andrea Stramaccioni’s Inter Milan, who are both odds on favourites in their matches against Rayo Vallecano and Siena respectively.
While Real and Inter should prove fairly safe bets, Motherwell might appear to be a bit of a riskier punt, but a closer look at the reasons behind their selection should convince you that backing Stuart McCall’s men to win at Aberdeen is a wise investment.
New customers to bwin qualify for a free £20 bet and using that to back Motherwell, Real Madrid and Inter Milan will return £113.20 if successful.

It’s a Madrid derby at the Camp de Futbol de Vallecas on Sunday and it’s a fixture in which the city’s big-boys have enjoyed almost total dominance in recent years.
Real Madrid have won the last eight La Liga meetings with city neighbours Rayo Vallecano, averaging more than three goals per game. You have to go back to February 1997 to find the last time Vallecano beat Real in the league – that’s ten games ago.
Jose Mourinho’s side have not had the most auspicious start to the season, losing two and drawing one of their four La Liga matches so far, but Tuesday’s 3-2 victory over Manchester City in the Champions League should kick-start their campaign against opponents who won their opening two matches but have drawn and lost their next two games since then.
Inter Milan to beat Siena @ 1/2
Siena are winless in their opening three games of the Serie A season, having drawn two and lost one so far. Their six-point deduction at the start of the season means that they sit bottom of the table on -4 points.
The Tuscans haven’t beaten Inter Milan in recent times, losing 12 of the 15 matches between the sides since 2003.
Inter have won two out of three so far in Serie A and appear to be shaping up nicely for another crack at the title this year. If that is to happen, home wins in matches like these are a must.
Motherwell to beat Aberdeen @19/10
On paper, these two sides should be relatively evenly matched. However, at odds of 19/10 on an away victory, closer inspection shows that this could be too good an opportunity to turn down.
Motherwell are unbeaten in their last four visits to Pittodrie, winning three of them, and have won six of the last eight meetings between the sides.
On top of that, their opponents on Sunday, Aberdeen, have only scored three goals in six SPL matches this season, firing blanks on four occasions.
Motherwell, on the other hand, have scored in all but one of their league games this season and striker Michael Higdon tops the SPL goal-scoring charts having scored double the amount of goals on his own than Aberdeen’s entire team have managed between them.
And if all that wasn’t enough to tempt you, Motherwell go into the game as SPL leaders and without a league defeat to their name at this point.
