United have kept clean sheets in their last four games and with the potential of being eight points above Manchester City by the time the Citizens run out at the Emirates to face Arsenal, expect Fergie’s men to win comfortably.

Real Madrid v Valencia: Cristiano Ronaldo to score anytime @ 1/4

Despite Barcelona closing the gap on Real Madrid in recent weeks, you’d still expect the side from the capital to win the league when they have players like Karim Benzema, Gonzalo Higuain and Cristiano Ronaldo. In all competitions, they have scored 101 goals between them, with 49 of them coming from Ronaldo. Since signing from Man United, the Portuguese man has averaged just over a goal a game, so I’m expecting his name to appear on the scoresheet again when Valencia pitch up at the Bernabeu. One more goal will mean he joins Lionel Messi and Gerd Muller as the only players to score 50 goals in consecutive seasons. Valencia are winless in their last three league games and Ronaldo has scored four goals in his last three starts against them – expect that to continue on Sunday.

Athletic Bilbao v Sevilla: Both teams to score @ 7/10

The side from Bilbao have made many friends with their exploits in Europe and the philosophy they have, but it has also left a hangover with their league form, as they have only picked up four points from a possible 18. Despite all of this, they have the fourth-best attack in the league and with players like Fernando Llorente and Iker Muniain, they should get at least a goal. Sevilla come into the game having won their last three games and have scored three goals in each of those games, so they have the potential to score.
